Pope Resources is a publicly traded Master Limited Partnership listed on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol POPE. Pope Resources has a heritage as a land and timber owner in the Pacific Northwest that goes back for over 150 years. Today, our assets include 120,000 acres of productive fee timberland, and a 12% co-investment in 88,000 timberland acres owned by our Timber Funds. In addition, we own 2,500 acres of development property, most of which is within a 50-mile radius of Seattle.

Olympic Property GroupOlympic Property Group (OPG), also a Pope Resources subsidiary, excels in creating value from timberland and real estate properties in the Pacific Northwest.  OPG manages land development activities across a number of real estate properties, and applies its real estate expertise to timberlands owned by Pope Resources and the Timber Funds. It also manages the historic town of Port Gamble, Washington, a unique treasure of the region.

Public Recreational Access Closure Lifted on Southwest Washington Tree Farms - Wednesday, September 12, 2018

Effective Wednesday  9/12/2018, we are lifting the Public  Recreational access closure on all Pope and ORM properties in Southwest Washington  including the tree farms located near the Swift Reservoir, Morton, Riffe Lake, Willapa and North and South of Raymond Washington.


Pope Resources has agreed to postpone a permitted herbicide application in Kitsap County south of Hansville until after the Pollution Control Hearings Board renders a decision on the permit for the application.

NO DRONE ZONE - Thursday, February 22, 2018

Our timberlands are a "no drone zone" in order to prevent collisions with private planes and helicopters used in the management of our timberlands, to protect human health and safety, to reduce the risk of wildfires, and to prevent damage to trees, towers and other property. The use of drones or other unmanned aircraft systems ("UASs") on or above any portion of our timberlands is strictly prohibited without express written authorization given by one of our tree farm managers. In addition, it is illegal to fly a UAS in or around a wildfire firefighting operation.
